- Learn and work with other groundskeepers in a variety of different trades.
- Work with irrigation systems, landscaping, tile, concrete, small engines, welding, and playground equipment.

- Basic knowledge of mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools and equipment.

Job Summary
Mowing of school and district properties, assist in maintaining fence cement, sprinklers, pruning, planning shrubs & trees. Assist with moving equipment to various locations, laying sod, and other landscaping needs. Attendance, physical presence, and timeliness are required and are essential functions of this position.
Essential Functions

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have current Utah driver’s license
Required Prior Experience
No prior experience required.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Makes decisions concerning the best way to accomplish tasks assigned by the supervisors. Must take directions well and be able to work within specific guidelines. Makes suggestions but must be willing to follow directions. Concern for safety of self and others. Must be able to perform assigned tasks without on-site supervision.
