LOCATION - Dhahran, Saudi Arabia PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Examine molds for dings and dirt. • Follow work instructions to load molds and preforms.

  • Inspect first run parts for defects, making adjustments required prior to production. • While parts are in press, operator should turn preforms, stack preforms, straighten preforms and parts, etc. • Load press platens uniformly with molds of equal height. • Handle molds with proper care so critical machined surfaces are not dented or galled.
Report any damage to molds or machines to manager. • Watch that mold halves do not get switched. • Verify preforms fit mold properly. Report to Crew Lead if the preforms are not correct.

  • Proper use of mold release • Proper engagement of molds when press closes, and pressure is put on molds. Especially important when molds are stacked, as they may slide when closing or bumping the press. • Use appropriate brass tolls on molds. • Separate molded parts by size in respective boxes after removal from mold.
  • Keep molds clean. • Maintain good housekeeping in work area during and at end of shift. SUPERVISION • Works under direct supervision. We are CDI Energy Products - your global custom-engineering specialists.
