Booking.com is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager which is part of the CS Platforms Strategy team. You will be responsible for the project set up, delivery and governance of key initiatives and projects as defined by the Platforms leadership team.

The Senior Technical Project Manager role will partner with the various teams, both technical and business, to lead project delivery efficiently and enable effective change adoption. You are therefore skilled in translating between such functions to translate to build a common understanding across. Projects will often require engagement with external parties, commercial and finance teams, support external benchmarking, technical capability assessments etc.

You can effectively demonstrate, whilst working with cross functionally, how you can influence, support collaborators, contribute to clear accountability, and dedication on the agreed project goals. You will be experienced in leading the different teams to mitigate project risks and dependencies to make sure there is progress towards the project's achievements.

You are organized, diligent, have an eye for detail, ensuring that the projects are handled in a consistent manner, aligning to project management standard methodologies to deliver high level of quality for our collaborators. In some cases, the role requires taking care of external vendors and handling external partners.

You will have validated experience in working/partnered with Customer Services and understand key Contact Centre Capabilities. You will be experienced in working in a multifaceted, global, diverse landscape which thrives on change and delivering excellence.


B.Responsible:

Be responsible for the successful delivery of the end-to-end project lifecycle

  • As an individual contributor, you will apply structured methodology to and lead project/organisational change activities
  • Lead the successful delivery of the end-to-end project lifecycle
  • Lead independently low / medium complexity projects with global impact (cross-functional) driving them through execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation
  • Apply organisational change processes and tools to build a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Engage and influence collaborators at all levels inside and if required outside of the organisation: work collaboratively with business unit partners and corporate support teams to drive enterprise strategy execution and partner on segment or functional strategy projects
  • Communicate project insights and recommendations across all collaborators
  • With limited supervision, identify, define and scope the opportunities
  • Drive the Project scoping and Planning by helping to detail the project goal, critical metrics, roadmap and main results
  • Track and report progress; Crafts clear planning documents together with involved departments
  • Ensure a project closing and accurate handover to Business as usual
  • Ability to work and efficiently interact with different partners up to Director level


B.Skilled:

Experienced senior project manager with 5-8 years with a solid track record in handling the full end-to-end project lifecycle educated to degree level.

  • Customer centric mindset, passionate about improving experience and delivery business value.
  • Experience in CS contact centre environments and or familiar with key supporting technologies, understand technical delivery disciplines, practices is key
  • PMP or Agile Project Management or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven familiarity with project/organisational change approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Ability to lead multiple low /medium complexity projects or portfolio of projects
  • A solid understanding of how people go through the change curve and the change process
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships (both within a team and with wider collaborators)
  • Ability to work efficiently and influence up to Director level
  • Successfully communicate in small/medium groups; Strong influencer in 1:1 and small groups
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and under pressure
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • With limited supervision, ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making
  • Strategic thinking, able to contribute to long term vision
  • Strong Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Basic eye for business and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts is an advantage
  • Knowledge of similar industries and/or business projects is an advantage.
