We are now looking for an energetic, digital-savvy, and creative
Communications Manager, employee experience and media relations
to join our global communications team at KONE. As a Communications Manager, you will have a special focus on our employer branding and employee experience, and in media relations. You will act as a main point of contact when it comes to People & Communications related priority topics, and in strengthening our PR capabilities and media relations.
As a communications professional, you will take part in planning, implementing, and distributing the KONE story across all our channels and will independently handle media relations, both with Finnish and international media. You will be involved in developing different types of communications activities and materials related to employer branding and employee engagement, which are often implemented in close collaboration with KONE People & Communications colleagues within different countries and territories. Much of the work is done in a project mode and requires someone who can be flexible and cope with changing priorities from time to time.
The position is fixed-term, until the end of October 2024, with preferred start date in late August 2023. This will be a maternity leave substitute position. The location is Espoo, Finland.

We expect you to have:

A suitable academic degree, preferably in corporate communications or journalism

Min. of 5 years’ work experience in areas such as communications or marketing
-
Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills both in English and in Finnish
-
Excellent digital communications skills, including mastering social media and other digital channels
-
Experience in planning, creating, distributing and monitoring editorial content for and in different channels
-
Experience in setting up or developing program and stakeholder specific communications channels and measuring the impacts
-
Experience in managing and leading projects
-
Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, take charge of issues and follow through to resolution

Self-motivated and excited to tackle challenging projects, working together with your broader team

International experience is seen as an asset
