Overview
APC Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for the knowledge transfer, enhance reach & Sales execution for the Sales business for the unit.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Have the responsibility for achieving the required business results in relation to UPS Sales for the unit, focusing on partners reach and knowledge transfer
- Execute the Sales strategy towards the achievement of business goals and targets
- Handle and execute Sales Enablement programs for the resellers & end-users
- Building strategic relationships with partners & end-users in relation to the Brand’s sell-out strategy to drive sales
- Utilize the available sales strategies and utilize these for the achievement of results in the assigned solutions, territory, or partner set
- Define and use the appropriate marketing requirements to support the Logicom APC sales
- Lead and participate in customer sales briefings as needed
- Understand, record and effectively communicate business requirements to the PM
- Present to audiences the value of the UPS & Logicom APC brand
- Pitch Logicom to new/existing vendors that we can work with to expand our APC sales
- Actively participate and occasionally lead seminars and marketing events
- Provide weekly reporting on all aspects of tasks to the unit PM
- Be willing to travel within its assigned territory
- Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in Computing, Engineering or Sales in related field
- Knowledge / experience of UPS’s Data Center Solutions design and implementation is strongly desired
- Strong team player skills and leadership skills
- Consultative and trusted advisor selling approach
- Understanding of the Distribution business and/or the Services business is desired
