Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the machine learning domain, providing strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of ML engineers;
- Develop and execute innovative machine learning strategies, including model development, training, deployment, and continuous improvement;
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to discern business needs and translate them into practical machine learning projects;
- Design and architect robust and scalable machine learning solutions, ensuring they align with our long-term vision;
- Oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data preprocessing to model deployment and ongoing monitoring;
- Leverage your NLP and LLM expertise to advance our models' natural language understanding capabilities;
- Utilize your hands-on experience with ChatGPT and similar models to create engaging conversational AI solutions;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and NLP technologies, incorporating relevant methodologies;
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and software developers to establish integrated machine learning pipelines;
- Actively participate in code reviews, championing high-quality code and best practices;
- Provide technical insights in evaluating and selecting tools, frameworks, and technologies for our machine learning initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in machine learning, including leadership roles;
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python;
- Strong grasp of machine learning frameworks and libraries;
- Expertise in NLP and LLM techniques, with hands-on experience in industry projects;
- Hands-on involvement with models like ChatGPT and similar conversational AI solutions;
- Knowledge of industry-leading machine learning architecture, deployment, and optimization practices;
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to guide complex technical projects;
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional teams;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure for scalable machine learning deployments;
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in machine learning, with demonstrated leadership acumen in the field;
- Experience in life science is a big plus;
- Experience with medical data is a plus;
- Intermediate+ English is a plus (at least, you should be able to have written conversations with stakeholders).
