Data play a vital part in the LEGO group in order to mature our business transforming into a digital company. Therefore we need a data specialist to be in the front line of ensuring we can unlock the value from data and provide the business with greater analytical insights.

As our new Data Specialist within Data Intelligence product team you will be part of rolling out our data catalogue, a key strategic component to our enterprise data strategy, across the entire group. Your responsibility will include:Roll out our enterprise data catalogue product to the entire organization.
Drive the communication and enablement of business partners, ensuring high satisfaction and usage rate of the platform.
Work closely with business areas to onboard them to the Data Intelligence Portal platform
Act as expert for supporting the business in the use of Data Intelligence Portal through participation in initiatives, communities and development sessions.

The Data Specialist role within the Data Intelligence Portal product team will be at the forefront of ensuring business areas can generate value from data and therefore have a critical role in the Data Strategy. You will be exposed to a wide variety of business partners across the organization and the globe to ensure the Data Intelligence Portal becomes a successful component to the data value stream.
Do you have what it takes?
You have experience within a business-related field, such as Business Intelligence / Engineering / information management / Analytics or equivalent working experience with strong track record and furthermore you have:
Very good communication & facilitation skills.
Experience with organization wide communication.
Knowledge on data catalogue and meta-data.
Understanding on concepts such as self-service analytics, Data governance, metadata and data literacy.
Coding languages experience in SQL, DAX, R, Python or similar.
Basic understanding of data architecture and tools.
Nice to have qualities include:
Strong people person who can create and manage a big network or community.
Take initiative and drive tasks proactively.
Enthusiastic, outgoing and passionate.
UX experience.
