Duties
· Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms
· Cleans and maintains restaurants and banquethalls
· Sweeps carpets
· Empties ashtrays and urns
· Polishes furniture and fixtures
· Vacuums and polishes elevators
· Keeps the front of the hotelfree from trash
· Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and shampoo machine
· Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors
· Dustand polishes metal work
· Collects solid linen supplies in floor linen closets
· Maintains housekeepingcarts
· Removes trash collected by room attendants
· To perform daily assigned tasks in toilets, lifts, back areas, terrace, etc.
· To report maintenance to supervisor/ housekeeping desk immediately
· To comply with Lost and FoundPolicy of the Hotel
· Responsible to maintain inventoryin the Housekeeping closets
Responsibilities
· Ensure all the instruction from supervisors and managers are respected and followed
· Log and inform the managers of any system errors or defective equipment (eg: Faulty vacuum)
· Follow all YHG grooming, performance standards, workplace health and safety, emergency procedures and all other property policies and procedures
· Report any health or safety, incidents and injuries to your Managers/Supervisor. This Include unsafe working environments, equipment, machinery faults or damage
· Follow departmental fire and evacuation procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Prior Experience
· Work experience as a public or common areas in a hotel (No experience can be trained)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: $22.77 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Essendon, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
