Service/Warranty Administrator
Truckline Services is a locally owned and operated Fleet Servicing & Parts Sales business providing a comprehensive end to end service to our clients, working in partnership with our premium dealership brands including DAF, Kenworth and Cummins.
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Service/Warranty Administrator to join our busy Mt Maunganui based team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient process of customer booking, invoicing, and the timely resolution of any issues in relation to truck servicing.
The Warranty administration part of the role requires relevant service information being uploaded to the OEM warranty sites.
This role is key to establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships and is a critical part of our business. Provision of exceptional customer service to our clients is key, as well as ensuring a strong working relationship with the Servicing team, Parts team and OEM warranty team demonstrating great communication and teamwork.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring efficient & effective scheduling of customer jobs through our IT system, Orion
- Managing customer bookings and enquiries
- Writing up service jobs ensuring that required detail is captured
- Service invoicing
- Monitoring WIP and maintaining efficient WIP levels
- Providing a contact point for our customers
- Working alongside our COF providers
- Warranty service information uploading
Experience in the transport industry and/or automotive industry is an advantage but not a prerequisite, attitude is key! However, the successful candidate will need to be able demonstrate:
- strong planning and organisational skills
- a love of admin keeping the ducks in a row is super important!
- strong written skills to be able to deliver accurate and detailed service job stories
- excellent communication skills, confident dealing with all types of people
- the ability to remain calm under pressure
- a positive, proactive and can-do attitude
- be a strong team player with a good sense of humour
