This role will assist the T&C Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Talent & Culture Department at Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of Queenstown
Within this role, consisting of 20 hours per week, responsibilities would include:
- Recruitment activity; Applicant tracking and screening on our live job advertisements;
- Payroll processing support;
- Creation and providing employee contracts;
- Co-ordinate onboarding communications, assigning training and providing new starter inductions;
- Training co-ordination & delivery;
- Providing HR support for team members;
- Engagement activations and activities across the property.
- Previous Human Resources experience would be advantageous but not essential - you will have an interest to learn and grow within this field;
- Previous Hotel experience, particularly in luxury sector would be advantageous;
- You hold excellent communication skills with professional and commercial outlook;
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail and are able to multi-task and organise your work efficiently;
- You have a commitment to long-term, permanent opportunity in Queenstown;
- You must hold the right to work within New Zealand.
