As an HR Content Manager your role will be to coordinate the planning, maintenance, and accessibility of HR owned and generated content and content-related services. This includes ensuring that the layout, positioning, navigation, tagging, and look and feel of content are consistent across and throughout the organization. The HR Content Manager is also responsible for enforcing the HR content governance process.

Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning

Prepare a long-term plan for content governance and development, including standards and guidelines, based on business goals and input from stakeholders
Operational Management
-
Manage all aspects of HR-owned content, including documents, contracts, guides, handbooks, policies, procedures, graphics, sound files, multimedia, and any other collateral deemed as content

Collect and define requirements, then create and maintain a consistent operational architecture for content

Develop taxonomies for content on Workday
-
Co-ordinate and manage the editorial and quality assurance process with content creators, such as writers, content owners, and so on
-
Collect and maintain metadata of HR content for search purposes; assist in maximization of search functionality
-
Ensure consistent look and feel by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, and layout; create templates to assist content authors

Find, diagnose, and fix content problems, including broken links (internal and external), typographical errors, and formatting inconsistencies

Liaise with systems experts on hardware and software issues that affect the availability and accessibility of content, wherever it exists

Develop, implement, and enforce the HR content governance process

Assess content best practices in regards to content, look and feel, functionality, search and make improvement recommendations for our organization

Analyze, report, and act on content analytics and user feedback
Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience
-
College diploma or university degree in the field of business, marketing, computer science or library/information sciences and/or 3 years equivalent work experience

Advanced knowledge of content and Web content management technologies, protocols, and development tools
-
Working knowledge of authoring and publishing tools
-
Experience with Workday HCM, or other HCM systems
-
Understanding of marketing and customer service principles
-
Some experience with computer graphic and multimedia design
-
Experience in gathering, analyzing, and meeting business requirements.

Understanding of basic project management principles
-
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
