Warehouse Assistant [Australia]


 

Crown Sydney is seeking Warehouse Assistants. In this role, you will perform the duties required for the daily operational activities of the Warehouse Department; ensuring timely and courteous provision of service is afforded to our people and customers.

Accepting applicants for Full Time (38hrs per week) & Part Time (20-24hrs per week) positions.

NOTE: This role requires the successful candidate to hold or obtain a current forklift license (LF - approx. cost $400).

Key duties will include:

  • Pick stocks and complete requisitions ready for transport, dispatch goods accurately to meet order, timeframe and quality requirements.

  • Maintain an awareness of and report any potential Health and safety issues/hazards.

  • Replenish stock items and inventory as directed. Use appropriate Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) to move and transport goods.

  • Prepare storage areas and assist in ensuring inventory integrity.

  • Adhere to CrownSAFE policy, procedures and systems relating to health and safety

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Previous warehousing or stores experience

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment with customers

  • A strong understanding and adherence to Health and Safety guidelines

  • Must have a valid Forklift license
