What’s the Role?
As a Service Technician you will be part of our Service and Support team, being the subject matter expert in servicing of our Guardian bandsaws! You will be a natural road warrior when it comes to site work and servicing and maintenance of our Guardian products – the ability to work effectively with people, have a electrical or mechanical aptitude and be a natural problem solver is essential!
What will you be doing?
- Off-site installation, commissioning, and servicing for Guardian products
- Provide training for new bandsaw customers and maintenance staff
- Pre-assessment of service trip needs
- Unpackaging of equipment when it comes back from a service trip ensuring refurb parts are sent to correct people. Tools etc are replenished
- Mechanical assembly work when required
What do you need?
- Capable of performing installation quality review and support.
- Experience working with mechanical and/or electrical components – mechanical/electrical trade qualifications are preferred
- Experience working to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Be a proactive problem solver that isn’t afraid to get stuck into different tasks.
- A methodical, careful and tidy work ethic
- Have a passion for working with and training new customers.
- Be able to travel extensively (up to 80%) domestically and internationally.
- Flexible to work weekends to meet demands of customer needs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $30.00 – $42.00 per hour
