THE ROLE

The Manager, Service Agreement Strategy and Policy leads a team to support the ongoing evolution of the department's approach to contract management via the Service Agreement. As a business owner of the service agreement and monitoring framework the Manager leads a team providing complex advice to a range of stakeholders and support to operational and policy areas on the monitoring of funded agency performance and associated policies and practices. The Manager drives a culture of integrity and accountability in the development of service agreement terms and conditions, and associated contractual documentation including service specifications, service agreement requirements, associated policies, business rules and guidelines and is a subject matter expert in all areas related to the service agreement.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Strategically design and develop the delivery of departmental objectives that impact significant localised service delivery and meet statewide departmental and government objectives and community expectations.
  • Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
  • Identify and actively manage emerging issues and areas of risk for government, department and the community.
