The Receptionist provides a wide variety of essential support to the business , primarily acting as the first point of contact for SGS Australia at our Head Office located near Perth Airport. The role requires high levels of administrative, organizational, and customer service skills.
Duties will include:
- Answer and direct all incoming switchboard calls to the appropriate staff member
- Respond to all Voicemail messages on reception phones
- Meet and Greet all corporate visitors
- Monitor Perth Airport Reception mailbox
- Coordinate site notifications
- Collect and process incoming and outgoing mail, airbags and freight as per procedure
- Update and maintain local and nationwide SGS phone/contact lists
- Assign and create access (swipe) cards for SGS Staff, Visitors and Guests
- Experience working in a similar role
- Experience with register logs and or checking data
- Minimum of Year 12 High school graduation certificate
- Computer literacy, particularly internal email, Microsoft Office suite, and Oracle
- Professional presentation suitable for front desk environment
