We are recruiting for a Despatch Supervisor for our ever expanding and well established global manufacturing facility in Sheffield. Reporting into the Production Manager your job details will include;
Leading a team of upto 6 people, ensuring high levels of team performance whilst reacting to changing production demands
Ensure health and safety best practice is always followed and providing improvement ideas to improve
Managing Health and Safety within your team including risk assessment reviews, H and S audits and 5s
Implementing and managing KPI's along with identifying training requirements within your team
Provide regular and accurate plan progress updates to Management
Organise shifts and overtime requirements
Leading team briefs and shift handovers
Identify training needs within the team and contribute towards their each individual personal development
Implementing new processes and structures within the team to improve production efficiency and lean
Produce reports for Senior Management
We are looking for experienced Supervisors, Team Leaders or Shift Supervisors with proven experience in a similar dispatch role ideally within a manufacturing, production or an engineering environment. You must be able to demonstrate previous man management experience within a process driven / production environment. You will be an excellent decision maker, team motivator and problem solver.
